|The 25th annual Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival is May 20 — 22, 2016|
A nationally top-ranked fine art and craft festival that typically attracts 30,000+ patrons, the Festival is also Greater Reston Arts Center's primary fundraiser. Our Festival is made possible by our fantastic community sponsors, Reston Town Center Association and the Reston Community Center and it allows GRACE -- the area's largest non-profit dedicated exclusively to enhancing community life through excellence in and the promotion of the visual arts -- to offer its free-to-the-public exhibitions at its Town Center Gallery and art education programs across all ages (GRACE Art is currently in over 40 schools regionally impacting over 20,000 children).
Each year our competitive, juried, Festival features over 200 skilled artisans who utilize both traditional and unconventional materials and techniques to create hand-crafted, original works of art available for purchase. The sheer diversity of fine art and craft at the Festival, now in its 24th year, ensures that there is something for every taste and budget. One of the highlights of visiting the Festival is having the opportunity to interact directly the talented participating artists. See the list of participating artists for 2015!
The 2016 Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival will be held in the streets of Reston Town Center. The 2016 Festival will be open to the public Saturday, May 21, 10am - 6pm and Sunday, May 22, from 10am - 5pm, rain or shine. Join us!
Adding to the art viewing and buying experience, the Greater Reston Arts Center also offers visitors access to artist demonstrations and diverse art-focused activities for families.
The Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival benefits the non-profit Greater Reston Arts Center and provides critical support for the Center's mission and operations. It is a success each year due to the continued support of our community, sponsors and volunteers. Over 500 volunteers are needed to make the Festival the signature community event that it is.
